  9. I'm not big on cookies, but twice now I've run across two cookies that 
  10. were just too decadent beyond words.  The pumpkin cookies were the first.  
  11. These fruit cookies are just outstanding.

  13. This recipe makes a double batch.
  14.  
  15. 1 lb pecans
  16. 1 pkg raisins
  17. 1/2 lb candied cherries
  18. 1/2 lb candied pineapple
  19.  
  20. Chop all together well (coarse chop).
  21.  
  22. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  23. 1 teaspoon cloves
  24. 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  25. 3 cups flour
  26. 3 tablespoons milk
  27. 2 jiggers whiskey (more or less to taste)
  28. 1 cup brown sugar
  29. 1/2 cup butter
  30. 4 eggs
  31. 3 teaspoons baking soda

  33. Sift dry ingredients.

  35. Cream sugar and butter.  Add beaten eggs, then dry ingredients and
  36. whiskey and milk.

  38. Drop by spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet.  Bake in a 250F oven about
  39. 20 minutes.
